Hello World!

We're excited to launch our new website for our Creative Communities research group. Our group is exploring how we can engage people to create, play, and learn together. We want to support people to create things they care about, to see themselves as creators, and to see the ways they can shape the world around them. These efforts can involve designing learning technologies or community programs that welcome people of different backgrounds and interests that allow people to create and share in new ways. In addition to designing experiences, we study how people learn with these technologies and in these environments and what supports their learning.

We're located at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Information Science department. Our group consists of students within Information Science and across the university such as the School of Education, ATLAS, Computer Sciences, and Museum Studies.

Explore our website to learn more about our projects, our team, and our publications. We'll update this blog to share updates, thoughts, and events.
